Strategical Marketing Direction Project for Non-Profit Organisations
The Blackwater International Coal Centre is an iconic visitor and community center based in the heart of the Central Highlands Queensland region. The center is home to the Australian Coal Mining Museum, Blackwater Cinema, BMA Expo Conference Hall and function rooms, The Coal Cafe, and the award-winning Timeless and Japanese Gardens.
The center required a refreshed marketing and business plan to enhance its appeal to gain sponsorship opportunities, increase venue hire and tourism stop-over rates. This project has required both planning and project implementation of the marketing plan. Over the last 18 months the client has successfully implemented changes with the assistance of on-site and virtual marketing support provided by Jill Stephenson Marketing.
- Promotional signage and tourist brochures
- Responsive Website with optimized content to target specific markets of growth
- Sponsorship media kit
- Function and venue hire brochure
- Short Video Trailer for Museum Foyer
- Enhance Social Media strategy
- Point of Sale Implementation for Cafe & Reception
The center has shown operational resilience with their re-vitalised marketing strategy. Management has been able to focus on day-to-day operations whilst integrating marketing strategy into the business progressively. This exciting project continues to gain momentum and we look forward to updating their notable achievements over the next 12 months.
